What costs are involved in having a website?

When you have website the costs are typically as follows:

Domain Name - This is the bit after the www. This is typically charged every year or every two years and is a bit like renewing your car registration.  Read About - What is a Domain Name

Email Services - This is the provision of emails @yourdomain.com and is usually charged for annually and can vary on the type an number of mailboxes Read About - Easykey Email Services

Search Engine Optimisation - This is the service of increasing the chances of your website to be found via Search Engine websites such as Google.  This is usually an optional on-going annual or monthly fee.  Read About - What is Search Engine Optimisation?

How Does Easykey Charge for these services?

In a bid to keep billing as simple as possible Easykey puts any or all of the services described above into one simple annual bill.  So for example:

  • Registration Only
  • Registration and Email Services Only
  • Registration, Email and Website Hosting

The Build and Design of a website is usually agreed as a seperate one-off payment.
