Instructions to ensure your twitter account is private so that:

• All your tweets are only broadcast to your followers
• Your tweets cannot be seen by the public
• Only people you allow can follow your tweets

Click on the Settings link (top right of your twitter page)

Complete the first page – make sure your One Line Bio contains keywords so your firends know who you are.  E.g. Classical Pianist, loves Thai food and Photographing Wild Birds

Important if you want your tweets to be private make sure the Protect My Updates box is ticked

Click Save button at the bottom
