So you have set up your twitter account – what next?

Firstly to need to login to your twitter account

• Go to http://twitter.com and fill in your username and password on the right hand panel.  Can’t see it?  That could be because you are already logged in!
• When you are logged in you will see your username displayed underneath the menu at the top right.

Now you are ready to send your first ‘tweet’!

Look for the box under What are you doing? Type something in the box  e.g. This is my first ever tweet Then click the Update button.

Your message will appear at the top of the list below.  That’s it – You have just tweeted you first tweet on twitter!

Public or Private?

The next step is for you to decide how you want to use twitter

There are basically two kinds of twitter users: Private/Exclusive or Public/Inclusive
