Twitter is a free Internet communication service you can choose to make public or keep private with your circle of contacts.

This is how you set up a Twitter Account

1. Go to https://twitter.com/signup
2. Fill in the fields and remember your username will be used to make your twitter website address  e.g. I chose easykey so my twitter address is http://twitter.com/easykey
3. The next step “See if your friends are on twitter” is optional and only works for people with a Gmail, Yahoo or AOL account.  Click skip this step at the bottom.

4. This final step randomly suggest a list of people you might like to ‘follow’  again you can skip this step (click link right at the bottom)

That’s it now you are ready to go!
