Step One - Register with TelFriends
Before you can use this facility you need to register a TelFriends account.
Go to https://telfriends.tel
Enter Your Name, Email (be very careful to get this right) and choose yourself a username you will remember
Then click the Signup button
Now check your email - You will then receive an email with a link in it to confirm your registration.
Click on this link (which should take you to the website) - leave the text in the boxes and click the confirm button
You will then be able to choose your password and an answer to your own secret question.
Once you have completed this login to the telfriends site add one or more of your dot tel domains.
Step Two - Activate Your TelFriends account
After adding your domain(s) to your TelFriends account you need to go back to the control panel to manage your dot tel - https://telhosting.ascio.com
Look for the Messages window on the right.
Click the link Activate TelFriends
A window will pop up with your .tel already filled in - enter the coloured letters and numbers you can see then click the Send Invitation button
You should then receive another automated email to with a link to click on
This should fill in the Activation Name and Activation PIN for you - All you need to do is click the Submit button
IMPORTANT - Now make sure you close all your Internet windows
Step Three- Save your Your TelFriends login in your Control Panel
After activating your TelFriends account you need to go back to the control panel to manage your dot tel - https://telhosting.ascio.com
Look for the Messages window on the right.
Complete the form i.e. Your TelFriends username, password and answer to the security question your chose.
Then click to save this.
Finally logout of your control panel
Step Four - Start Managing your Friends
The next time your login to https://telhosting.ascio.com
You should see a new Friends tab (along the top)
This is where you can accept or reject your friends' requests to see your private contact details
